Did anybody catch the presidential debates? (j/k) I know you guys couldn't peel yourselves away from your t.v.'s last night.
I fully expected to find the blogger filled with nothing but rambling from you politics loving fiends.
I had to work and didn't get the chance to catch the debates. Did anything interesting happen? Did the mud sling in appropriate directions?

Mattie------ are you going to be out tonight?

Perhaps someday we will have REAL candidates that are neither democrat nor republican.
I heard on NPR that women are voting more for Bush than Kerry because of the security issue.

The woman speaking for all women said, "Social issues don't matter if terrorists have blown up your house."

Opinion taking or opinion making?
The Harvest Moon -- also known as the Beaver Moon -- was named long ago by farmers who relied on its light to harvest autumn crops after dark. Tomorrow night the Harvest Moon will be full and extra-beautiful. Don't miss it!

Two people warned me last week about scratching and spreading the poison ivy/oak/sumac rash I got camping. Those two people are misguided and caused me undo grief. I want an apology.

"Contrary to popular belief, the rash from poison ivy cannot be transmitted from touching the oozing blisters. The rash is transmitted only through the poisonous plant oils themselves."

I apologize for all the HOT AIR spewing out of my bloghole this morning. I can't seem to get into work mode.
Oh, and one more thing.

They dismiss us as conspiracy theorists, until enough people start to wake up! What function does it serve that only some explore the frontiers of reality, while the rest just believe what their neighbors, parents, and TV tells them?

"While there is no suggestion that Prescott Bush was sympathetic to the Nazi cause, the documents reveal that the firm he worked for, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), acted as a US base for the German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, who helped finance Hitler in the 1930s before falling out with him at the end of the decade."

How's that David Cross joke go? "I have to go to other countries to get my real news. How fucked up is that?"
It wasn't a "new age" site, unless new age is the old age redux. But the East is not like the West. The people of India have the oldest surviving religious culture next to China, so they are still into paganism, idol worship, and the study of "signs", i.e. astrology, I Ching, etc.

It doesn't matter if it is true or not, the choice to believe is yours. Although my god -- the inventor of Toaster Strudel -- wouldn't be very happy if you didn't.

What other "parallels are stunning," other than we both have grey hair now, little pink socks?

Animal scent markings are notorious for smelling terrible. But castoreum is different. It has a musky smell that some people describe as van...
