skateboarders know little of poetry. they're insane little men that do incredulous feats that inspire poetry though.

Out on my skateboard the night is just humming
And the gumsmacks are the pulse I'll follow
If my walkman fades
Well I got absolutely no one
No one but myself to blame
Don't worry, we're in no hurry
Schools out
What did you expect?

I wanna range life

dreans are meaningless; they're like conversations. (no edit)
Dreaming that you are not dreaming is common. Having a dream where you are dreaming is insane.
Being unable to walk in your dream is similar to many types of dream paralysis. Stuck energy, unfullfilled desires, hidden motivations may or may not have something to do with it. It is all up to the interpreter.

I need to reorient my life more towards poetry instead of politics. I'm heading down a fruitless path.
And I like fruit.
Beauty is in the eye of the skateboarder. Behold, a new path has opened up before me in the woods. It appeared at the precise moment I needed it the most.
when I was younger I had the same reoccuring nightmare. i dreamt i was a turkey, and my step-dad chased me around with an ax, screaming, "you're mine now sucka." the turkey (me) went to a witch doctor and paid the doc handsomely to put a hex on the evil step-father. the witch doctor put a spell on the short little italian, and from that night on the step father could no longer find the ability to persue the poor turkey. after that the witchdoctor became hysterical and ate the turkey. maybe that will help you out joe.

This beaver is in hiding, sleeping and dreaming of a better world. Did you ever have a dream in which you found yourself asleep and dreaming?

Michael Mann, I feel you brother (in response to a comment left about 4 comments ago).. I understand the logistics are less than favorable. I guess the implication or the question I wanted to put out was the question of a possible double standard. It's not necessarily an important issue, just something that was on my mind at the time.
So I was downtown yesterday, and it felt pretty good. It was interesting to see people come out of the building and maybe just for a split second realize that the little bubble they'd been living in maybe wasn't telling them everything they needed to know on any objective level. Decent stuff. I was planning to arrive in a suit and tie, but time did not permit. My reasoning: to simply throw a kink in the stereotypical image of the voice of the dissent-er.
What's it gonna be Wednesday?

Meet the new Ryan, same as the old Ryan.
or
Blo-Blo-Blo-gojevich?

I'm voting for crazy. My vote goes to Cal Skinner.
As much as I value throwing my vote away (I did vote for Gore in 2000), I will vote for Blowmeyasonavabich. I am a robot, I vote my party [eyes flashing electronic red].

I've been thinking about when Mike Mann said, "I think it would be intersting to see a Matt Hale speech where everyone that disagreed with hale didn't attend the event, and the remaining 15 or so in attendance just stood around waiting for the oppisition to show up."

I think you are right Mike.

I also think there is more than one way to be right. It is not a black and white, good versus evil, world we live in. The idea of facing hate and anger with love and compassion is a valid idea. That works too. Sounds like something Mother Teresa or Jesus would do.

Same thing with President Bush today. Anybody who disagrees can certainly stay home. Anybody who disagrees can certainly go there if they choose.

I'm going.

Castoreum

Animal scent markings are notorious for smelling terrible. But castoreum is different. It has a musky smell that some people describe as van...
