It wasn't a "new age" site, unless new age is the old age redux. But the East is not like the West. The people of India have the oldest surviving religious culture next to China, so they are still into paganism, idol worship, and the study of "signs", i.e. astrology, I Ching, etc.

It doesn't matter if it is true or not, the choice to believe is yours. Although my god -- the inventor of Toaster Strudel -- wouldn't be very happy if you didn't.
