Ariel Sharon finally prevailed and got the vote in the Israeli parliament to pull out of the parts of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Palestinians meanwhile took this as a last chance to throw some more rocks at the Israeli troops - trying make it look appear as if they were driving them out, while the Israeli troops returned fire to make it look like they weren't being driven out. (Is this a war being fought by retards?)

The religious right also opposed the plan, saying that it is a sin to pull Jews from their homes and that Gaza is part of the Land of Israel given to Jews by Mr. God.

The pictures I've seen taken of Sharon looks like he's just waiting to get shot. I wonder what Bushies Christian Right Armageddon enthusiasts think of these developments.
