the "tree of knowledge" has taken on many different paradigms throughout the ages. Generically speaking, it has come to represent challenging God's all-knowingness. until we get into a real philosphical debate with God, I can't see that metaphor taking much meaning.

I like to think that the tree of knowledge represents humility - admitting that your not as smart as you think you are. If you think you can solve the world's problems, then you better quit the klan and rethink you view of the world. Hitler tasted the tree of knowledge. He hung himself in a bunker.

I think it's funny when someone says they are smarter then me. It is only then that you can tell how stupid they are. Knowledge in not infinite however. Knowledge has many finite ends. knowledge is something that makes you smarter, but it never really makes you smart. life is full of a bunch of stories. do people even like stories anymore?
