Do you think history will look back on the Iraq War as a significant event? I do. For all the positive and negative effects it will have, this is a historic event, in a historic time.

Will this be the final war for a weakening global power? To call it a war makes it sound like military powers of remotely equal size are battling. That is not the case.
It certainly is a turf war. The American Empire battling the European Empire for economic resources.

What about this Christian Fundamentalist U.S. Administration, the likes with have never been seen in the US Presidency, allied with hard-line Isreali lobby? They are running this dog-and-pony show. And they certainly believe God is on their side. Maybe this is a divine act.
